Saturday, 25 April 1752

John Delahay and James Williams No indictment in the gaol file.  Burglary of the dwelling house of Henry David of Llanelli and stole 2 foreign gold coins (Single Johns) (value £1.16.- each) and 2 half guineas (WALES 14/54).

Griffith Philips wrote to his son (26 April Cwmgwili MS 43a) "Two for housebreaking to be hanged this day will draw a crowd it being unusual for 2 to hang."  (As 26 April was a Sunday he was probably referring to execution on Saturday).
